Logical Systems, LLC (LSI) has hired Holland “Pierce” Rumph as its newest Automation and Reliability Consultant. Rumph will be responsible for overseeing new business development across LSI’s growing customer base as well as project oversight and implementation on its more complex automation endeavors.
Before joining LSI, Rumph served as an Automation and Reliability Consultant at Control Southern. Prior to that, he spent five years as Senior Project Manager at WestRock, the nation’s second-largest paper and packaging manufacturer. In 1986, he co-founded Orion CEM Inc., a systems integration company specializing in pulp and paper manufacturing, and process control automation and optimization. Rumph held multiple leadership positions at Orion for 15 years, including Vice President of Engineering and President. The company was later acquired by Emerson, where he served as International Projects Director and Global EPC Sales Director.
“Pierce possesses an in-depth knowledge of systems integration and electrical engineering that’s rare to come by,” says Nick Riggio, LSI’s President. “His past business experience and leadership skills make him an important addition to our team.”
