Corporate Office

LSI Corporate Campus

Our Memphis office is the Corporate Headquarters of LSI, and since our founding in 1985, our customer base and technology offerings have grown steadily. This strong growth led to the need for more space. Moving from our four separate locations around the city to our new campus in 2013 has allowed us to bring all of our Memphis area technical staff, accounting, and UL Certified Panel Shop into one location.

The Memphis LSI Campus on Appling Center Cove is now almost 40,000 sq. ft. and growing. This facility has many types of conference rooms and a 1,000 sq. ft. state of the art training center where we can hold internal classes as well as customer meetings and training sessions.  The facility was also designed to support the execution of projects in secured areas.  Should a project require physical isolation for highly sensitive information, certain areas are card keyed entry only and only the project team is granted access.  Outside, our Commons area is used for relaxation, walking, company picnics, barbeques, and other outdoor activities.

The Memphis office of LSI has a deep bench of over 85 skilled individuals and growing that often support our other branches as we foster a culture of teamwork across our offices.  Memphis also has a number of professional engineers with Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, and Chemical degrees.

Additionally, our 8,000 sq. ft. Assembly and Testing Facility includes a 4,000 sq. ft. flexible assembly area where machines, prototypes or full production lines can be setup and verified prior to shipment.  A twenty-five person conference room has a full viewing glassed wall looking out into the assembly area. This facility also is available for customers to hold off-site meetings, conferences, or training in the fully equipped conference rooms, break room, and rest rooms.

In 1985, Larry Bailey founded Logical Systems, Inc. in Memphis to provide Power, Controls and Instrumentation Systems consulting services to support a Fortune 100 Pulp and Paper Industry company.  Shortly thereafter he expanded LSI into a different division focused on Food and Beverage. His experience in, and firm understanding of, electrical engineering, project management, and power and process control systems quickly led to opportunities in other areas.

In 1993, LSI moved into a custom built 6,000 sq. ft. facility and by this time was about thirty five people.  During the twenty years in this location LSI continued to grow, adding our UL Panel Shop, and then, in 1995, we started our first branch office in Jackson, TN.

In 2005, LSI opened our Guangzhou, China, office to service our North American clients who were expanding to the Far East.  Then in 2007, LSI expanded into Rossville, GA, which also added our second UL Panel Shop.   LSI added an office near the Denver area in Golden, CO, in 2008, and in 2013 expanded into Toronto, Canada.
